Will Kraut Clean You Out
Growin up in my family we had a tradition of eating Kraut
and pork ribs this time of year.
The long standing tradition was supposed to bring you good luck
by “cleaning you out” and having you ready for the New Year.
This meal became apart the bowl game extravaganza on New Years Day.
Grab a bowl then then grab a seat and kick back a few helpings.
Funny thing was I laid this tradition to rest a couple of
years ago. Why? Well, because one year I noticed something peculiar about
the boiling cauldron of mashed pork and sauerkraut. When it
cooled there was a ton of coagulated FAT resting o' top of
everything else. Now maybe different cuts of pork don't give you
this. But, one thing was sure, I wanted to re-examine this “tradition.”
Plus, come the next day, I hardly ever felt
cleaned out - just bloated.
Now I didn't put two and together for a long time.
I sat there and went along with family tradition blind to the obvious.
Suddenly one New Years afternoon it struck me, if the
reason for eating this is to clean my colon for a new start then isn't the effects
of the fatty goopy grease negating the Kraut?
I mean, what in tarnation do my ”pipes“ look like
on the inside after eating all that fatty gook.
That family tradition went bye bye and I started a new one.
This time of year I give my colon a good scrubbin with a simple cleanse.
Especially, since I never met my Dad's father who passed on
with colon cancer when my pops was 14.
Me wants a good healthy
colon not one that looks like the walls
are closing in from fatty grease and such.
Become more aware of what you put into your
motor to keep it running smoothly.
Lay to rest the meals that bog your fuel lines. Also, to get an Energy
infusing diet, get your hands on Triple Your Endurance
Vince Lombardi said it best when he said, “Fatigue makes cowards
out of all of US.”
Don't be a coward, get the energy you need to tackle your goals
in 2006. And when you look back this tiem next year, you'll be glad you did.
