How to End Allergies with Freezing Cold Showers
By Vince Palko

Back in 1995 I lived in Hamburg, Germany playing American football.

During the day I would work at an Ad firm and at night
I'd go to football practice. I worked with a guy named Bobo,
who also played football for the Hamburg Blue Devils.

We practiced on a wide-open patchy grass lot closed in
by woods on three of the four sides. I used to get severe
allergy attacks right in the middle of practice. They were so
intense that sneezing tens times in a row was not uncommon.

Growing up I always had allergies to pollen in the spring
and I quickly would take some form of allergy medicine to calm the attack.

Well, when I was in Germany I couldn't go to a drugstore
and pick out an allergy remedy. One, because they didn't
have them, and two, everything was in German and looked
so different I didn't feel comfortable taking something I
had no idea what is was used for.

One day as I was running off to the sidelines having an
allergic sneezing attack, Bobo walked up to me and said, “What's going on?”

I told him about my allergies and he suggested a
method of natural healing which at the time I thought was a bit loony.

Bobo said, “Why don't you get up tomorrow at 5am and take a
freezing cold shower.” A bit skeptical but curious, I responded
saying, “What the heck will that do?”

“It's a natural way to heal your body,” he said with a smile.
“Your body won't be used to doing this and it'll react by pumping
adrenaline throughout your entire system. And the
adrenaline is used for the rest of the day to suppress the allergy.”

I tried it the next day and voilà it worked! I kept doing it for several weeks until my body became immune to the allergy.

Wouldn't you know I now have no problems with pollen to this
day as a result of trying Bobo's shower trick. Also, by not using
drugs of any kind I allowed my body to fend off the attack by itself.
Otherwise, my body would have been dependent on drugs, never
giving it a chance to fight the allergies naturally.

In doing research on the topic of hydrotherapy in the last few
years I discovered even more benefits to this natural healing practice.

A book by Peter Ragnar, “How Long DO You Choose to Live?”
reveals that you are building nerve force every time you take
a cold shower. What does building “nerve force” mean?

In my own experience, I have taken cold showers in the
morning and I instantly feel awake, I have a clear head
and every cell in my body feels revitalized. Not to mention
I don't need to spend three dollars at Starbucks everyday
to get my engine fired-up. This is the “nerve force” Peter talks about.

I actually feel I do my best writing after an eye opening cold shower.
Warning: Beware of shrinkage if trying this at home. “Whooo eeeey.”

Matt Furey writes about Vladimir Vasiliev using colds
showers to cure common colds and flues in the book,
“The Russian System Guidebook”. Vasiliev says, ”It's the
best way to mobilize our body's reserves to pull together
and fight weakness. Pouring cold water over your body
causes your central nervous system to call upon each part
of your body to work better and direct more energy to weaker areas.”

It's a great way to start off the day. Try it and you'll be amazed at the results.

No retreat, no surrender,

Ps. The “shrinkage” comment was to get your attention. It's not all that bad.
