How to Shave 16 + Strokes Off Your Golf Game
(Practically Overnight, with NOO practice)

By Vince Palko

The world needs more visualization stories to pump us up
(and equal all the negativity on the news).

I'm not talking fluffy feel-good ones from motivational speaker to speaker.
Rather, the real-life imaging success stories with visible, tangible
results.

So here goes:

Had our annual early fall family golf outing this past weekend.

Not much of a golfer but I DO get out once or twice a
year. When I do I usually shoot between 106 and 110.
Although I'm not a scratch golfer, I do like to experiment with the sport.

And the other interesting thing about golf is you really
pick up on the negative chatter the average
person creates for themselves.

Especially on the putting green. Some common
phrases heard from the putter are:

• "Hit it Alice!" (For when a ball comes ups short)
• "I didn't eat my Wheaties this morning" (Again, when a ball comes ups short)
• "I Yipped it" (When the ball hits the cup and bounces out)
• "You big whimp! Hit it!"

If what's coming out is any indication of what's going inside–
most golfers are in a lot of trouble.

Anywho, in this round of golf I set out to put my deep breathing,
calming, and visualizing to work.

After parring several holes, I came up to
my best hole. It was 400 yards to the pin so I
took out my driver and hit my first shot.
It went straight down the middle about 280. Second shot
got out my wedge and put it within a
foot of the cup. (See below picture for proof.)

It was a great shot. Don't think I've ever birdied a
hole before.

After a few more holes of draining 20
foot puts and several pars my dad, who golfs every week
(and feels he's hit a ceiling with his game) asked me,
"Have you been golfing?"

"Only in my head."

"What do you mean?" Dad asked.

"I see the shot I want to make before I swing.
Then it does what I want. If for some reason I make a bad
shot, I never say anything bad to myself."

I take a deep breath and I say, "Get it back next time Palko."

"Most people who golf beat themselves up for duffing a shot and consequently their game spirals out of control."

As for me, I like to do the opposite. "This game is easy" is what I said all day long.

And as a result I trimmed 16 strokes off my game.

Most think to be better at something you need to work twice as hard.
The reality is you only need your imagination to work for you.
That means a whopping few minutes of thought time a day.
No physical effort what-so-ever.

Now in the past, I've tried to visualize the path of the ball coming
off my club going to the spot I wanted it to go. I had no success!

This time, however, I tried something different.
I focused on the end target (see illustration above) and
saw in my mind's eye the ball landing, bouncing a
few times and resting in the exact place as I put it.
Give or take a few yards.

To my amazement it worked extremely well! I shot a 90.

The lesson in all this is – focus on the end target.
Not the projection of your path or how you'll get somewhere.
It will all magically happen. Just like your mind creating the perfect
swing when you visualize the end target!!!!

Like the guy on the Gatorade commercial says,
"I guess this stuff REALLY Werks!"

Conceive, Believe, Achieve,

Ps. Here's another quick one to add to your arsenal.
Did you hear the story of a scratch golfer who went to jail and everyday
played a round of 18 in his head? He proceeded to do this every day
for the remainder of his sentence (20 years).
When he was finished serving, he went to play golf. His performance on the course was like he never put down a golf club.

Pps. Do you think this golf viz technique is the same when it comes to visualizing your gut melting away? Most definitely so... chip on over to the MFGTSP page and invest in the Ultimate Fitness and Goal Achieving Tool on the Internet.
