Don't Forget About Your Problems...
Take 'Em to the Board
Back to the mailbag today. This one's from a Success
Visuals fan with a $uper great idea.
Hey Vince,
I'm a customer of yours and really like your artwork -
the visuals have so much more impact than just words!
Each week when you do something (like the put problems
in the boat down the river, or your board group) it
would be nice to offer a professionally printed 8.5' x
11' copy on glossy paper to sell on your site. Your stuff
is really well done and I love the Matt Furey posters
http://www.successvisuals.com/special.html
A picture is truly worth a
thousand words - I can still visualize many of the
ones you've done even though you sent them a while
back! I don't know if you're familiar with
Successories (at many major malls) but your stuff is
better since your stuff uses imagination and
creativity instead of just photos.
My quick question was who were all of the people
around your boardroom table? I saw Matt Furey and Dan
Kennedy but couldn't figure out the rest? I'm going
to put mine together as well.
Thanks for the inspiring e-mails.
Cheers,
Henry Evans
Dr. V's repsonse..........................
Thanks Henry. Amazing ideas and YES, keep your
eyes pealed
for those daily email Success Visuals to be bundled
together in hard copy formats.
I do want to raise something I picked up on from
your response. Please don't misinterpret what I was
saying in “Float Away Ghosts From the Past...”
I'm not saying forget about your problems.
I believe you need to deal with them.
When ever I've buried my head in the sand in facing a problem- I've gotten burned.
I do, however, advise to float
away your negative beliefs about yourself DOWN the river.
For instance, any 'I can't' beliefs, and any negative
thoughts from the past
that surface holding you back NEED to GO
dowwwn the river!
Now, on to my board members- besides, Matt Furey and Dan Kennedy.
Doug Hall is an inventor and marketing geek (used in most positive light)
who has helped AT&T, Nike and several other businesses
create NEW products. He is responsible for half of everything
new you see created on the grochery store shelves. His website is
DougHall.com He has a great radio show for entrepreneurs.

Jim Anderson is a friend and an amazing co-life explorer.
He has a jam-packed coaching business for senior executives who run
Fortune 500 companies. Jim is one of the most intense, thought
provoking individuals I've ever met.
The awesome thing about Jim is he's someone
who I can depend on to NOT hear what I want to hear. I believe
everyone needs someone like Jim in their life to challenge them.
He loves helping individuals explore
Cause and Effect relationships that we ALL find ourselves in daily.
He'll be launching a series of amazing products in the near future and I'll keep
you posted when he does.
Thomas Edison is one of the greatest inventors of all time who never
gave up his dream! After thousands of tries he created the light bulb.
Lastly and most importantly, Chuck Palko who is my dad.
As a young boy, his Dad passed away. He had to step up to the plate at age 14 and be the “man” of the house. One can see how that experience shaped him for the rest of his life. I've always respected his quiet style of 'leading by example.' He served for our country on the US Enterprise during the
Cuban Missile crisis in the 60s. Often, I ask myself how would 'Pops' approach the daily challenges I face. I find that being a Dad is eaasy because I've had the best example growing up.
So there's a few for you today. The rest I'll keep to myself.
Create your own ”Board” with the people you respect, admire and
want to emulate. That way, when you are faced with an obstacle
you can take it to the ”Board” and ask them how to approach it.
You can envision how each would give you feedback as you go around
the table. Then you can't lose because you've got your
success squad in your corner.
Conceive, Believe, Achieve!
