My last flu shot: 1976. Last time I had the flu: 1976. That flu almost put
me in the hospital with dehydration. Have never been that sick since. Even
my bout of pneumonia wasn't as bad as that case of the flu.

Hesitate to generalize. I too am a doctor, and I agree
with you 100% about the flu vaccine. Many years ago when
Swine flu was threatening, I was part of a study to determine
why 18-25 year olds didn't develope the expected antibodies
to the swine flu after 1 vaccination. Long story short, after
getting 1 shot, and not responding, I had sort of an epiphany.
I have never had another vaccine. It may be appropriate for
some, but if most simply took care of themselves and got off their
collective butts and moving, most of what I see as a physician
including the flu can be avoided or taken care of by a healthy immune system.
