The Crabs in the Bucket

I have a friend who doesn't like what I'm all about these days.

Let me explain.

I recently attended Matt Furey's conference Internet Success Seminar and took home boat loads of useful and practical knowledge to put me in the driver seat of success.

Well, a couple of days go by and I send out 'Acres of Diamonds' success visual. SOon after I receive an email from this gent dropping some compliments and expressing to
me he was ready to take his
idea (which was a stellar one) and turn it into a product
he'd like to sell on the Net.

He asked, "Where do I start?"

"You can start by calling my 800 number and giving me the credit card of where you want me to bill my services to," I replied.

After a few nasty emails and saying stuff like "Your wallet comes before friendship... I was just lookin for a little inspiration, blah, blah blah." Says he wasn't lookin for the whole anchilada just a 'little inspiration.' He also went on to say he thought he was doing me a favor by supporting what I was doing in the past.

It's an interesting thing when you acquire knowledge that can help people like my friend. When you invest money to attain this info something happens to you.

You learn not to give it out to just anyone who asks. You value the information because you know stuff this good is worth every penny invested, not only in the Seminar but in the coaching as well.

When climbing the ladder there will always be people who want to knock you off. They could even be friends and family. Stay the course, you know what to do.

I'm reminded of a maxim I've heard a good friend and mentor say often, "Eagles don't fly in flocks they fly alone."

To add to it here is an illustration based on the Crabs in the Bucket story.

When you experience success it's kind of like being a crab in a bucket with other crabs. When you start kickin butt and making your way out of the bucket, there will always be those who want to pull you back in. That's why you'll never lose any crabs when you put them in one bucket.

Don't let this happen to you.

I have included an illustration of you fighting kickin and scratchin your way out of the bucket! See above illo.

No retreat, no surrender.

Conceive, believe, achieve,

Vince Palko
